My name is Isobel but I go by Izzy, I am a 19 year old girl from West Yorkshire.

I have a passion for creativity and an eye for precision, this element of me has been explored in numerous ways throughout my life.

I started ‘Optomizm’ with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my own original thoughts and experiences. Trust me when I say I have confronted my fair share of apprehension and doubt when it comes to selecting an occupation, I even auditioned for Drama schools, got a place and moved to Manchester! I believe that we all have inimitable paths within our consciousness ergo our calling in life will approach us all at different times. 

In times of disorientation I longed for a page like this to show me that there was hope for me to find an industry I was truly passionate about that suited my personality and harnessed both my creativity and my mind.

Whilst debating on when to begin this blog I decided that now would be the perfect time!

I used to associate ‘perfect timing’ with a destination, as though I needed to reach my goals to discuss them, I have since realised that in the ‘real world’ the journey is just as valuable as the destination therefore I thought it would be best to start at the beginning and take you along with me in live action!
